The game is far too luck based. They try to make it seem as though it is chess, but even if one plays perfectly one can still lose due to a roll of the dice. Very unfortunate. I would prefer a mechanic such as only being able to use certain abilities a certain number of times, or having them on a cool down. It would make the game much more strategic and much less frustrating.
Do you enjoy rolling dice? Do you enjoy losing a game down to pure probability? Do you wish there was a game that didn't require any skill at all? Then you will love this game, dismiss all ideas of strategy, throw out the rule book and enjoy this game where chance determines if you win or lose! Endlessly grind randomly determined games to ever so slightly improve the odds of not losing thanks to a bad roll! You will still lose though and you will love it!
Great game, needs chat/emote. I absolutely love the game and the style of game play. I have been playing pokemon games since it came to the U.S. in the 90's. I have several concerns. 1st no friend system. 2nd It needs in my opinion a chat/emote function. 3rd To really feel like a pokemon game, it needs a pokemon trade system. It does need work on the touch controls, sometimes i go and select a pokemon to move it and it takes me tapping the figure 3 or 4 times before it works. Turns limited to 15 to 25 seconds per turn. All in all i love the game, concept is great. Just lacks a few things to take it further.
Love it, lots of potential! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't EVER give up on this game. It obviously isn't as popular as Pokemon Go but their user base is also rapidly declining due to lack of marketing. Please keep this game alive, I just don't think enough people know about it yet and it has the potential to be the "next big thing." I think adding chat/emotes to the game and more social features could really kick the game up to a whole new level.
I believe that this is a nice departure from the main games of Pokemon. I love strategy games like these, the only problem I have with it is how you could lose games simply to a bad roulette. Also that they're aren't any type match ups like in the main games. I believe that could add a level of strategy to this already great game. It's really addictive though, I played it for literally 12 hours straight when I first got the game. I think that the "story" mode should be playable offline. I say that since you're not really battling other players around the world. You are battling an AI system built in-game. Overall a really great game, a new take on the classic Pokemon formula.
I loved it, but I'll give five stars if you make supper effective, and stuff like that to make it more better gameplay, and i have been playing for 10 straight days, and I never got an ex Pokemon! All my friends got at least 3 in 5 days, seriously, how do I beat people with 6 ex's on there team?
Hit the road for a life of adventure in this version of the classic boardgame!
