Pokémon HOME is a cloud-based service, designed as a place where all of your Pokémon can gather.

You can bring any Pokémon that has appeared in a Pokémon core-series game to Pokémon HOME. You’ll also be able to bring certain Pokémon from Pokémon HOME for Nintendo Switch to your Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, and Pokémon Shield games.

If you have a smart device, you’ll be able to trade Pokémon with players around the world anytime you want, anywhere you are. Enjoy different ways of trading, too, like the Wonder Box and GTS!

▼ Complete the National Pokédex!
You’ll be able to complete your National Pokédex by bringing lots of Pokémon to Pokémon HOME. You’ll also be able to check out all the moves and Abilities your Pokémon have.

Ratings and reviews

I only have two complaints. One is that I have to force quit the app and restart it in order to recieve completed trades when I get notifications. The other is that if I am connected on other devices to pokemon home, I can't transfer on my phone. I have to go login to those devices to access those boxes. That's not an existing feature though, but I feel like it should be.

I don't understand how it allows transferring from all games, and between, yet it still imposes restrictions on certain transfers. I assumed it was a simple means of storage, nothing more, with some extra features, albeit barebones (i.e.: Such as a lack of a pre-trade confirmation for the GTS; a general shortage of filters; among others.). Premium access should also be included in the NSO subscription, because why shouldn't it?

Lately, the app is starting to feel rather sluggish after the recent update. It wouldn't keep things up to speed and it wouldn't let me use it because of "corrupted files", error codes 500 and 800, and cache clearing. Other than that, it still works like a charm.
