About this game

Collect Pokémon Through Sleeping!

In the world of Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon with the same sleep type as you will gather around as you catch some Zs, so discover all the various different sleep styles that Pokémon can have as you aim to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

What A Day Looks Like in Pokémon Sleep

■ When Night Falls...
It’s time to track your sleep! All you need to do is place your smart device by your pillow (don’t place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat), then call it a night. You can also play using sleep data tracked via your smartwatch.

■ A New Day Dawns
By the time you wake, Pokémon will have gathered in Pokémon Sleep based on your sleep type and how long you slept for. Carry out research on these Pokémon’s sleep styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

■ And the Rest of the Day...
Raise Snorlax big and strong! Snorlax will grow larger by receiving Berries from the Pokémon you befriend. The more you raise Snorlax, the greater your odds will be of encountering Pokémon with rare sleep styles!

Rest Your Very Best!

■ Check Your Sleep Report
What kind of sleep did you get last night? Your sleep report contains tidbits like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and whether you snored or talked in your sleep.

■ Get Support to try to Sleep Your Best
You can have Pokémon at your side even when you sleep! With features like Pokémon-inspired music to relax you into sleep, plus smart alarms that wake you when you’re in a shallow stage of sleep, Pokémon Sleep may help you to rest your very best.

■ Smartwatch Pairing
By linking with Health Connect, you can use sleep data tracked through certain smartwatches to play Pokémon Sleep.

I liked this app at first but it is exhausting to use over time. There are so many useless screens to skip through that take way too long to load and that do not give any valuable information, and there is no way to skip them all at once. It's a lot to deal with first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. The last thing I need is more stress and work right before bed and right when I'm waking up. This app turns bedtime into a chore, rather than relaxing me for sleep.

Fun, but sleep mechanics are very buggy... One day didn't record at all. Wouldn't let me add it. One night I slept over nine hours, and it erroneously recorded it as 1 hour 30 minutes, even though the correct times were marked. I took a nap, and it wouldn't let me record my sleep that night at all. I've been using it for a week. Every time there's ZERO info aside from start/end time, due to "unknown system error". Would be great if it wasn't so restrictive, and if everything actually WORKED.

The idea and gameplay loop is solid and quire addicting, but unfortunately, I can't recommend this game. If you are using your phone to track your sleep, it will be running at near full power all night while plugged in. And if you toss and turn too much, you will cover it, causing it to overheat and damage the battery. I have damaged 3 phones this way. The only solution I can think of is to buy the pokeball that's compatible with the app, but it's very expensive for what you're getting. Be wary.
