About this app

The TokoPay app offers payment functionality for purchases at participating stores in Tokorozawa City, as well as notifications from Tokorozawa City.

Please take advantage of the convenient and rewarding TokoPay app.

[Preparation]
① Download the app and register as a user.
② Scan the QR code on the back of the gift certificate sent to you using your smartphone's camera.
③ Enter your card number on the displayed website.
④ Enter the email address and password you registered with the app.
⑤ Confirm that there is a balance in the "Gift Certificate" section of the app.

[Payment Function]
① Scan the QR code at the store.
② Enter the purchase amount.
③ The store staff will confirm the amount.
④ Payment complete.
*Payment is also possible by the app user displaying the QR code and having it scanned at the participating store.

[Participating Store Search Function]
・You can narrow your search by area.
・You can narrow your search by industry.
・After searching, you can check the store's location on the map.

[Notification Function]
* You can check notifications from Tokorozawa City and local businesses through the app.

[Notes]
* This app requires an internet connection. It cannot be used without an internet connection.
* Data charges apply for using the app.
* When changing smartphones, install the app on your new device and log in using the email address and password you used before. Once authenticated, your account will be transferred to your new device. (Your balance will also be transferred.)
* If you have two-factor authentication enabled and change your phone number due to a device change, you may not be able to log in to the app on your new device. If your phone number changes, be sure to disable two-factor authentication on your old device by following these steps: "My Page → Two-Factor Authentication Settings → Press the button to disable two-factor authentication."
* Running other apps simultaneously may increase memory usage and cause the app to malfunction.
* While this app maintains sufficient security, automatic authentication is performed each time you open the app for easier use. If you are concerned, please manage your security by setting a lock screen on your smartphone.
