[Wi-Fi Analyzer & Speed Tester]
This app tests the quality of a Wi-Fi network environment that does not include Internet access.
You can check time-series changes of RSSI(signal strength), Link Speed (logical speed between your device and the Wi-Fi access point) and Throughput.
It is useful for adjusting the Wi-Fi access point placement or antenna orientation.
Try testing in various places such as the living room or bedroom, and compare the communication quality.
This app displays Wi-Fi access point information as a notification when your device connects to Wi-Fi.
In the notification, the name of the Wi-Fi access point (SSID), security method, signal strength, link speed and IP address are displayed.
For the name of the WiFi access point, you can also display any friendly alias instead of SSID.
- Dark Theme (night mode) supported.
- Save the history connected to the Wi-Fi access point.
- Customizable notification tap action. You can select an action when tapping the notification. For example, you can execute an action such as opening Wi-Fi setting screen, displaying W-Fi connection log, launching an app, etc. by tapping a notification.
- On Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above
Due to the enhanced security of the Android platform, this app requests permission for location information to access WiFi information.
Without the permission the basic features are still available, but some information about the Wi-Fi access point is not displayed.
Please launch this application and grant location permission. Also, please turn on device's location.
If Location Permission is not allowed, or device’s location is disabled:
- On Android 8.0, 8.1
SSID of Wi-Fi will be displayed but the security method will not be displayed.
- On Android 9 and above
Wi-Fi access point information including SSID will not be displayed.
This app uses this permission only to obtain WiFi access point information. This app does not use location information or send it to the outside.
