About this app

Home Care Log - SOYOGI is a simple recording app for families caring for a loved one at home. Water intake, medicine, meals, toilet, temperature, nights, mood, falls and near-misses, blood pressure, weight, bathing, and skin condition: keep a daily care log with one tap.

■ What you can do
Tap the large buttons and a time-stamped record is saved. For water, just tap one of three buttons: a cup, a half, or a little. You can see right away how far you have come toward the daily goal. For as-needed medicine you can note the reason, and once entered, the reason becomes a one-tap button the next time. You can also log night wakings on the spot, add a morning summary (fell asleep, woke up, sleep quality), and attach a photo of a skin area you are worried about, taken directly with the camera. Times can be corrected later, so it is fine if you forget to log something right away.

■ Show it at the clinic as it is
The Report screen automatically turns your records into a table for the last week, month, or three months. Just show the screen to the doctor, the nurse, or the care manager. There is also a memo field for things you want to tell them. The tables are designed to show trends and patterns, not just single numbers.

■ For you, the caregiver
With My Mood, you can also record how you yourself are doing (good, normal, hard, very hard, at my limit). These records never appear in the report tables. This is a place where you can be honest.

■ Designed for peace of mind
Completely free, with no ads and no account. All records are stored only on your device and nothing is ever sent anywhere. The app works fully offline. When you change phones, use export and import to carry your records over.

■ Public standards only
The color markers for blood pressure, pulse, and BMI follow public clinical guidelines. No original thresholds are used. This app does not diagnose and does not give medical instructions. If a number worries you, please talk to your doctor. The initial daily water goal is based on the guideline of Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (about 1.2 L of drinking water) and can be changed in Settings.

■ Easy for older hands
The buttons are large and respond even to long, firm presses. Text size can be changed in three steps.

■ 12 languages
Japanese, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Korean, Chinese, and Arabic. Records are stored in a language-independent form, so when you switch languages, all your past records are shown in the new language too. You can keep your log in your own language and switch to Japanese only when showing it at a clinic in Japan.

■ About this app
This is one of the free welfare apps developed by SOYOGI, a care and support consultation service. It is made in the hope of quietly reaching the people who need it, at no cost to anyone.
One-tap care log for family caregivers. Offline, no sign-up, 12 languages.
