About this app

SMAiLEE (Smiley) is an app to support children and families who are being treated for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
In the treatment of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), it is important to inform medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, and physical therapists about the child's usual condition.
SMAiLEE supports medical care by recording your child's movements and appearance at home and making it easier to communicate to medical personnel.

Videos shot and edited with SMAiLEE are stored and protected on an online video server managed by Welby Co., Ltd.
Welby Co., Ltd. complies with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, and handles personal information in its possession appropriately.

[What you can do with SMAiLEE 1] You can share videos of your natural exercise at home with your doctor.
Depending on your physical condition and mood at the time of treatment, it may be difficult to tell your child's regular exercise routine to the doctor in charge. Smiley helps you share your child's best performance by recording videos of your child at home.
In addition, if you register a dedicated doctor's link code in the app, you can view the video from a dedicated screen that the attending doctor can access. *You can cancel the link at any time from the app.

[What you can do with SMAiLEE 2] You can record motor functions that match your child's condition.
By registering your child's exercise status in the checklist, recommended reference exercise candidates will be displayed. Try to imitate the movement of the reference exercise animation and shoot a video regularly.
If you want to shoot an exercise that is not provided in the app, you can create an original category and shoot.

[What you can do with SMAiLEE 3] You can practice your vocalization and finger movements in a fun way with a measurement game.
"Fuwa Fuwa Balloon Bear Challenge" allows you to record the length and volume of your vocalizations during the game as part of vocal practice. In addition, you can practice moving your fingers along the picture displayed on the screen in "Connect and discover! Connect the dots challenge". The measurement results of the vocalization function and finger movement distance during the actual game can be shared with medical personnel. Have fun and practice with your child through games.

[What you can do with SMAiLEE 4] You can look back on the recorded contents and examination dates in chronological order.
On the timeline screen, you can check when and what your child was doing in chronological order for each reference exercise. You can also register the hospital visit date and display it together.
You can look back on the results of the measurement game in chronological order from the result list screen.
