Tenure: 3 months to 2 years. Interest rates range from 2%-15% depending on the risk profile of the customer.

Example: Borrow Ksh 1,000 at APR of 60% (per annum) with tenure of 3 Months
Interest = Ksh. 1000 * 60%/ 12 * 3 = Ksh. 150

Total amount disbursed will be Ksh 1000
Total amount to repay will be Ksh 1150 (Ksh 1000 + Ksh 150)
Three monthly payments of Ksh 383.33

HELA PESA is a loan service application that is specially designed to give clients access to quick, convenient and affordable mobile loan products anywhere and anytime. Loans are disbursed and paid using the mobile money transfer services like MPESA. To access the service, download the app, complete registration process and wait for account activation. Once account is activated, loan limit is availed which is the loan ceiling.
This limit is pegged on the ability of the client to repay that is derived from the financial and other data provided by the client. You can also switch between modules in order to activate and access other products like salary loans, mobile loans among others The app also provides a convenient platform for loan repayments enabled by the integrated mobile money payment service. the worst app ever, I applied for a loan,later I cancelled and it was never disbursed,only to find deductions in my payslips after ,too painful yet you can't contact them,no number to speak to a customer service,no reply on their WhatsApp pages,that quite evil of you

this is a con app.they hide their flat rate Interest in their loan application contract and they do not even tell you it is a flat rate figure .I am now about to pay 108k for a 30k loan that I took moreover they have no agents you can speak to .This is not only a bad app but it should be banned by the central bank of Kenya

I applied for a Loan on Monday and until now, it has not been disbursed to my account. I feel wasted as I wanted to use it today!!😭😭Your customer support numbers are also not working!!
