Optional Access Permission Guide

Whistle selectively requests only the permissions necessary to provide the service.

You can still use the app even if you do not agree to the optional permissions.

- Notifications: Provides major notifications such as enforcement alerts, inspection schedules, and reservation information.

- Location: Provides information on nearby parking lots, inspection stations, and car washes.

- Contacts: Used when gifting gift certificates.

- Camera: Used for registering profile photos and sending license plate recognition messages.

- Photos and Videos: Used for registering profile and post images.

Notes on Use

- Fines for illegal parking are imposed regardless of whether you receive notifications from Whistle.

- Notifications may not be provided for certain immediate enforcement zones, such as mobile CCTVs, on-site enforcement, and child protection zones.

- Notifications may be restricted if repeated illegal parking is detected.

- Notifications may be delayed or not sent due to network failures, etc.

- Checks on parking fines may be available after a certain period has passed since the date of the violation. - Only the vehicle owner can check violation fines, unpaid fines, and unpaid Hi-Pass tolls.

- Checking speeding fines requires registration of simplified authentication or a joint certificate.
