No Longer A Good Program 24 hours are up. Still no improvement. Uninstalling. I've installed Quote Unquote and while it isn't as good as this program once was, it's better than this one is now... Buh-Bye... Once again... It comes up with a picture of a tree and goes to a black screen. Eventually it says the program is not responding.

Was a really great game... This was one of the best cryptogram games I had found. Now with the new interface it is very unpleasant and cluttered. Cumbersome to use and difficult to look at. Kind of like going from Windows 7 to Windows 8.

Used to love it... But now it has some needless junk UI, that isn't translated. It will be uninstalled, and I'll find someone else's cryptogram app.

Update woes I have really enjoyed this Crypogram program. That is until they up dated it. Now all I get is a blank screen. I agree with everybody else that the original was by far the best. They have ruined it by up dating it.

Hate the update Loved the simplicity of the original version. New update is clunky and takes forever to load. Don't care about the new features, I liked just solving the puzzles before.

The current format is complicating The original was the best. In the curtent format list of authors are not listed systematically and number of quotes not mentioned against each author. We need the original one back.

Since the update, I haven't been able to get the puzzles to come up. The menu is just terrible.

What happened? Just a week ago it was 5 stars, now I'm uninstalling it. Please bring back the old version

It sucked. Couldn't even get it set up, let alone get it to work. Don't waste your time --- deleted!!!

Doesn't work Great puzzles when it works!

Used to like it Used to like it until this latest update .now I can't even read it, it's in a foreign language.

Don't download the latest update! Like many of the users, I can get passed the "minor" things (some code letters same as answer letters, etc). It's the update. The ONLY difference is now there's a most annoying ad at the bottom of the screen placed between the keyboard and the "check" area. If you inadvertently touch his ad, it WILL interrupt your game. Unless you are fluent in Korean (whether you're interested in the current product or not) it is a total distraction. Truly enjoy the app. JUST DON'T DO UPGRADE!!!!

My rating used to be 5 until you put that stupid ad at the bottom of the screen, in a foreign language, with no option to get rid of it. I love cryptograms, which is why I installed this. That ad ruins it. I am uninstallng.

Always current My phone constantly upgrades to the new version and I really don't mine if the picture changes just as long as the similarities are the same program and I can cypher the word's

Good for phones Aside from the Korean ad at the bottom of the screen, this is a nice time killer on my phone. On my tablet, though, the amount of open space around the puzzle and the letters is ridiculous.

Paid version, please I've loved this app for years and I don't remember it having ads before. I understand the need for revenue and I would gladly pay to remove the ads.

Great FREE app for thinkers This is a solid 4-star app. My only complaint is that I wished the cypher text and the decoded text were different colors. I'm upping my rating based on other reviews. I think the same-letter substitutions make it more interesting. With 13k quotes to pick from there's no need to complain about content. So if you don't like the moralistic quotes from Tolstoy, Aristotle, Jefferson, and Einstein, you can stick to the Karl Marx and Miley Cyrus quotes. There are repeats, but people repeat themselves.

This app is almost what I dreamed of I give 4 stars because I'd like to see the difference between the puzzle and the decoded puzzle. HoweverI had a thought that I'd like to find an app that takes up little space, had enough cryptograms to keep me occupied, and a simple easy to use format. Thank you for this app.

Great little app to entertain myself for a few minutes at a time Simple app for working cryptogram puzzle. My only complaint is that if would be nice to be able to choose text colors so that the code and decrypted text are different. It gets hard to read sometimes

Good but not great Two things that bother me with this. There are some puzzles where the substituted letter is the same as the cypher letter, as many people have mentioned. Secondly, as I was working through the puzzles sequentially and found that 99, 101, 105, 109, 110, and 112 are all different wordings of the same quote. Besides that, I enjoyed solving cryptograms but those issues are just silly. Edit: dropping one more star for the sheer number of puzzles with letters substituting for themselves.

Didn't like the format A dull screen, black, white & red letter on a black background. Does not flip over to landscape format, either.

Thank you for increasing the size of the letters and spaces. I love the quotes, and the variety. Small memory use, yet plenty of puzzles!! A few misspellings, nothing cringe-worthy. I'd like to see when author quotes are by characters created by author, as in one (so far) by JK Rowling. Quote is by one of her characters.

There needs to be a more visible difference between the cypher text and what we're filling in. It's good game but the graphical design could use some work.

Pretty good, but... Pretty good, but the last puzzle had several "encrypted" letters the same as the goal letters! Also, would like to eliminate choices for letters that don't make sense.

Love Always been addicted to cryptograms. Love having so many at my fingertips. Great for winding down and relaxing your mind.

Fun I like this. I would like to see like a common sized words type list for like a " did you know " but the app works great and is fun! Thanks Dev !

Love it Only one thing I wish it had was a share button to share the solved time and the quote and the Arthur of the quote but other than that love it

Not bad but I really do not like that some letters are not substituded. All letters should be substituted for different letters so as to conform with regular crypto puzzles.

I wish for some options, like color change and not allowing a letter to be encoded as itself, but otherwise it's a great, simple little app.
