I haven't used it yet, but... I haven't had the need to use the app yet, I'm sure that there will be a time that I will need it. Although the app may be great for determining the bold and screw specifics, it's still very difficult to use on a nut, and thats where my thread taper and pitch gauge will be most useful. I'll update my review when I've had some experience with the app.
Calibratible Elegantly & simply allows the accurate height of your screen to be entered, with a precision on-screen ruler, &, presumably, thread guides the result. A real tool for the real world the result.
Awesome, just what I needed in an emergency! I'm using it to measure the various thread pitches on my motorcycle so I can get the right replacements... I like how easy it was to calibrate by just measuring the length of my screen with a ruler.
Pointless Works about as well as a piece of paper. Precision tool is nearly impossible to use because as soon as your fingers leave the screen it disappears. It would literally be easier to have this printed on paper.
-Calibration!- So, this app is set by "screen width", which is actually your screen's HEIGHT. :/ [landscape orientation in use, so... ] Once that's dialed in, functions well as a multi-dimensional screw gauge. Minus the theoretical physics. Hole sizes would be nice, but overall definitely useful.
