I'm unsure why this app is not more highly-rated. Utilizing this has been a phenomenal experience for Kanji learning and retention. Just a month and a half in (at a very undisciplined pace), and I have encountered about half of N5's Kanji, and I've retained a surprising amount. Since that time, I've added daily reviews (20-40 for N5) and the introduction of just 5 new Kanji per day, and it's sticking very well. I went ahead and purchased a lifetime subscription for this. The stats: great to see!

Wow?! Please don't put a subscription! This is legitimately one of the best apps I've ever seen to help Japanese learning! If you want some actual complaints, it feels like the text is too bundled together on my phone next to the Kanji description, which is very eye soring. The way I would think you could fix that is to have the image appear above the text, and the text be below it (instead of to the right), where the words can extend partially more to the right than where the image is located.

This might be one of the best resources for kanji study that I've ever seen. From the ability to pace how fast you grow to the constellation giving a genuinely rewarding experience, this might actually be the best free trial for any kanji study resource I've ever seen. And that's where my issue comes in. $130 is a steep price. This needs more features than just kanji practice to justify that price tag. Maybe practice sentences based on JLPT level? Grammar study? In depth etymology and origins?
