100% accurate. I spinned the rotor with hand and the reading was the same as the hand count. And the magnetic pulse graph is amazing. It works perfectly. I'm giving 4 stars but it mostly 4.6 stars. The only feature missing is to take the rpm statictics with the time in a gragh. Exellent work btw. I think this is the only app which is not fake in this kind of apps.

It works! Needed something to measure the spin speed of homemade ball mill. Taped a small neodynium magnet to the jar and had my phone under it to measure and adjust the RPM of my variable motor. Might need to adjust the magnetic threshold (100 uT default) before RPM starts to display, just touch and hold down anywhere on screen until input menu comes up. Seems to have trouble picking up passes over 500 rpm, might need a very strong magnet for higher RPM rates.

This will be perfect for winding guitar pickups. A power drill holding the bobbin and a small magnet stuck to the chuck for the counting and a clamp to hold the trigger and it's almost completely hands free with an accurate winding count. Just wish I could turn off the high pitched beeping so I can listen to my music on the phone. :)
