Lame program, documentation, functions Really limited value - virtually none if you don't use the complementary Shark Capture. Even then the captures show nothing useful. Why have a program that doesn't support opening unless capture files exist in a fixed directory? Doesn't support newer pcap formats too. Doesn't support extension association either. Docs? Even the forum link is stale at 2010. Appreciate the attempt.

Pretty useless Displays a hex dump of a packet but has not even a forward/next feature. I would like to give zero stars but can't. Also, notice that the latest version is 4 years ago.

Not too helpful :( This program has lots and lots of problems... it doesn't allow you to open arbitrary pcap files. It doesn't support extension association. It can't read the current pcap format. And it doesn't show very useful information, it only shows the hex dump of packets. There's no documentation, and the interface is very unintuitive.

Very Limited Functionality Viewing a trace of Diameter messaging only displays source and destination IP addresses, no usefull content. Also errored out when trying to open a pcap file that was 1.5mb in size. Also couldn't execute the application from the shortcut because it says there wasnt a pcap file loaded. Was only able to open a pcap file when executing the pcap file directly. Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1

Worthless really You launch it, says no pcap files found. Let ME point it to the pcap I want to open. I have 3 sitting right there. Better to just transfer to a box and read there.

Used to work great I used this app all the time on my old phone. I installed it on my new phone and now all the updater says is 'Error: number format'. I think the site the definitions were on is down which sucks. This was great for wifi trouble shooting. Oh well back to wire shark on my laptop.

useless it barely displays any useful information from the capture and its not very intuitive. For example it will complain that it cant find any capture files, but it doesnt tell you that it is only looking in /mnt/sdcard.

Raw packet raw packet raw packet... and permissions That's all it prints for every packet. Also requires reading phone identity and retrieve running applications. Why??? For those wondering why it can't find your pcap files- it only looks in /mnt/sdcard, just like the logging app. Couldn't find any option to change it in either app.

The pogram doesn't even start. Just throws an error message and shuts down.

Useless, cannot read pcap files, claims they are "empty". Don't waste your time

App Fails to Load The application says it cannot find pcap files. There is no file chooser widget so that I can specify the location. This app isn't ready for public consumption

Wish It Came With Shark GUI is very plain and un-helpful, it really needs some improvement. Also, it would be nice if it were included with Shark instead of a separate application.

In most cases you can't read the content of the raw files.....most of it shows as cheberise or some sort Asian glyphs when phones language is english

Barely useful I still need to log on to my Kali to view the dump, since it does not show anything useful.

Absolute junk Can't find cap file error. Even from the Shark capture app. The Dev obviously couldn't care less.... .

Yeah it sux Wont open any pcap files. Just says Error No Pcap Files. I got mounds of pcap files!! Ha ha ha

No? Wireshark on PC reads is different ... good... This one not... just unrecognized strings of letters No instructions to rectify. Mind that I read small pcap from different program than Shark

Works! This app actually works! The capture app is pretty simple, consisting of three buttons: start (recording), stop and open the file/recording. The viewer, Shark Reader (download it via Google Play), is also simple.

Totally works brian and pushan don't be a douche, workin on x10 mini, great app on pc now on phone, a big thanks to the developer's, sweet app!

Seems to work fine on Samsung Galaxy S on AT&T I've just started using Shark Reader, but no problems on an AT&T Captivate running 2.2 Froyo with a stock ROM.

Unable to change settings. This application is looking for files in the wrong directory and doesn't seem to be customizable to change the directory.

Useful 4 year old no updates but it worked for me. I could read the data captured. It can't be compared with PC software, on Android works well.

No pcap files found I do have .pcap file but this crappy application closes immediately after opening saying `no pcap file`.

Needs an open file dialog I used another app to capture data but this app can't find the pcap files or let me select one to open. Seems to only look in a set location.
