The “My digital identity” application allows you to use your national electronic identity card (CNIE v2) or new generation Moroccan residence card, to simply and securely access your online services.
Digital identity ensures that you are the physical person you claim to be on the internet. The information contained on the card which is associated with you such as your last name, first name, date and place of birth is verified when the card is read. The presentation of this card is required by the partner each time he considers it necessary. Digital identity also offers a reduction in the number of different usernames and passwords to remember to access various online services.
Very simply and in a minimum of steps, if you wish, you can activate your digital identity from your mobile equipped with an NFC reader. If your mobile is not NFC compatible, you can start activation on the Citizen Portal then finish at a Kiosk in a CEDI near you or on a phone equipped with NFC technology.
The protection of your personal data is reinforced. Using the new electronic identity card allows partners to authenticate you remotely with certainty. To strengthen the protection of your identity, facial recognition may be requested by the partner to verify that the person presenting the card is indeed its owner. None of the data read from the card is stored centrally, they are transferred directly to the partner following authentication without being memorized. Each use of your digital identity (authentication, password change, etc.) is traced and can be viewed from your Citizen Portal Space.

Why isn't this suprising? The idea of the app is great! The app itself is trash! It does not work properly, like at all. You are forced to go through it to do some administrative things online, but then you're stuck because it is a bugs factory! I tried it and it kind of worked once (not through to the end of the process). When I tried again, it keeps giving errors, although it is exactly the same process I tried at first! I must have tried like 50 times!

Whoever person or team that made this app should get black-listed from ever working in any I.T related job permanently, truly an embarrassment of an app

The app doesn't meet the minimum standards for an application to be launched and used, this must be a joke not a real app At some points the app will prompt optional steps, and you literally need to click cancel to cancel the prompt and continue to the next step, it makes no sense to add a "cancel" button at the middle of the setup to be able to continue to next step Cancel always means cancel, and should be used to cancel the entire setup, and redirect to step 1, any other use of it is wrong.
