ScaffMate is the perfect on site manual when conducting scaffold work.
The scaffold crew I was working in were tasked with a job building a modular tower scaffold next to a live high voltage powerline. Our concern was the minimum distance a scaffold could be built next to a high voltage powerline. No one knew exactly what it was. After searching on the internet and sifting through all the information we finally found what we were looking for. Though wasting hours while we could have been working.
This is one of many ways ScaffMate could be helpful with all the information located in one place, broken into easy to navigate and digestible portions.
The people behind ScaffMate are dedicated to meeting the needs of scaffolders around Australia, New Zealand, and the world by providing an app that gives the user all the required knowledge needed on a scaffold site to work efficiently.
Message from the person behind ScaffMate:
"I am a scaffolder myself, I have been working in the industry for 3 years now. I am no scaffold Jedi but I thought it would be great for myself and other scaffolders to have access to a scaffolding app that served as an onsite scaffolding manual.
In the short time that I have been scaffolding I have learned one thing for sure, and that is there are a lot of scaffolders out there that take pride in their work and are continually striving for perfection. I hope ScaffMate can benefit these scaffolders on site, and I hope these scaffolders can work with ScaffMate to help us produce a world class scaffolding app.
We value your feedback so I encourage you to email your feedback and ideas to ScaffMate by going to the contact us menu tab inside the app, especially before leaving any negative reviews. I hope you enjoy ScaffMate, and I hope ScaffMate serves you well."
ScaffMate can be used as a point of reference for scaffolders around the world, however scaffolders should always refer to their countries current code of practice.
