Rescued me from using an older windows system.
Runs like it was OEM Ocean Optics Software! After sourcing a used Acer Iconia A500 10.1" tablet running Android 4.0.3, I was able to connect my lab's Ocean Optics USB4000 spectrometer to the full-sized usb port and collect and save spectra. There were a lot of thoughtful features to mimic the OEM software. I'm still playing with it and was very happy so far! The developer has been really responsive to my email queries and very helpful. Looking forward to future releases. I'm hoping to try an OTG micro usb adapter to the micro port on the Acer Iconia and on a Nexus 7 (1st and 2nd generation) to see if I can get it to work. I tried it on my Motorola Droid Bionic phone, but I wasn't able to connect to the spectrometer.
-Fixed USB2000+ issue where acquisition data was extremely noisy. Data is now smooth and continuous.
