Amazing app. Literally saved my life. The only mail manager that works with my office email. I am pleasantly surprised how powerful this app really is. Should be installed on any device.
Lately the app fails to send and ends up in drafts folder, what a terrible experience. I think mails are sent and wonder why people haven't responded, and that's because it's in my drafts folder. This happens on Gmail as well as other email providers so I don't think it is specific to them it is an app issue. The messaging on the send fail is not very effective and is unnoticeable. Please fix this bug ASAP or I will have to find another email client.
Great look and feel, but my Galaxy 8 continuously tells me with messages that this app is using inordinant amount of resources and suggests to close the app. Bummer, doesnt play well with new Samsung phones I guess. I am sure they'll update this but its been an issue for 6 months now, so I am going to use a different email app for now. Bummer.
[Update (2/17/18)]: Been at least a month with no battery draining notifications. That makes it worth 5 stars in my book. || [Original Review] I want to give this app 5 stars. I would. It's perfect in nearly every way -- except for battery usage. Once, I put the app to sleep & added 30 minutes to my battery. That's ridiculous. I'm going to keep it because it rocks & I don't mind the constant "1 app is draining your battery" messages. But it would be so great if I didn't have them at all.
I really like this app. With newer Android OS, k9 mail stopped working for me due to doze functionality. This was both a stylistic upgrade and it seems to update even with doze. Great work! Update: I'm now having issues with the widget not updating...
Worked very well for a year but the last month it has a mind of its own when you ask it to refresh your emails. 50% of the time the circle spins but nothing happens - currently looking for an alternative app as I've lost confidence in it now.
