About this app

Caminha.me, which roughly means “walk with me” in Portuguese, lets people walk alongside you virtually. Whenever you check-in, your friends get notifications about where you are and any extra notes you want to add. Your privacy is protected since you control when to check-in. Your friends can see your check-ins on a map, complete with location details. If you don’t check-in for a while, a length counter will appear, suggesting that your friends might want to reach out to you.
