Nice simple launcher for Chromecasts that does not have any ads and still allows Ambient Mode to work and use Google Photos. We had to use adb to disable the stock launcher, but after that the experience is fine. There are a few quirks of the device due to disabling the stock launcher, but FLauncher works great and is exactly what we needed and we're now happily using it on three separate TVs.

This is a simple replacement for the launcher on your device. It has some issues but it is FREE, so can't complain. 1. The launching of apps won't work using the ENTER key, rather it needs DPAD_CENTER ... I would think it would be easy to handle both and maybe the SPACE key. 2. Adding and managing apps is a bit primitive and not at all intuitive but it can be done. Thank you to the app developer.

Would like to try it, but won't until creator addresses the multiple reviews stating that the app causes CPU spikes of greater than 30%. Anybody with any technical knowledge knows something like this is a nonstarter. At a minimum someone needs acknowledge the problem with a reply or add a note in the description.
