Generally a great app with decent pricing. I do however wish they would ask if you wish to be switched to a closer driver sometimes. There are times when you see a driver is 10 minutes and therefore know you don't need to rush. It's annoying to, after a minute, be switched to a driver 1 minute away when you may not be ready at this time because of previous information provided. Then when you try and cancel...you are charged for "wasting the drivers time" the system could be better.

Sometimes the app reassigns a new driver when the previous one is close by which makes the wait longer. Also after calling for a ride, the push-down menu with the driver details blocks two-thirds of the screen/map at minimum and it cannot be pushed any further, which is really poor design. I'm more interested in looking at the map to see where the driver is rather than the phone vibrating when I close the app message (which by the way also does not seem to work).

I'm pretty sure it's the Lyft app that prevents my phone from using mobile data (outside the app) during a ride. It's happened multiple times and then today it prevented me from completing a transaction in a store during a scheduled stop. Beyond annoying, sure, but it seems like a potential safety risk too. Somehow. Either way, y'all should look into it.
