It used to be so good. You could never rely on taxis in most places, but you could count on Lyft to get you there (with friendly drivers to boot!). Now- it's just unreliable and you cannot make a plan that relies on Lyft to get you there. No matter the service level selected, you seem to get cancelled on 3-5 times by a driver that's "on the way" and it takes about twice as long as promised, if you actually succeed in getting a driver that shows up. I'm done with it unless it changes

Been using this app for years. Last few months, and more so weeks, it's become extremely unreliable with timings. I can pay for the fastest service, it shows 1-3 or less then takes 10 for my pickup as it keeps changing drivers. More than once I've learned from the drivers that it keeps changing pickups for them as well. Supposedly to "expedite and optimize" yet certainly not playing out that way. Same mismatch or worse with traffic and drop-offs. I have a 5 rating, so that isn't why.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The 4 a.m. trip to the airport, which I booked the previous day, was canceled without warning less than 20 minutes prior to pick up. Unable to see the trip on the app anymore, it seemingly disappeared with no sign of existence, even though I received clear confirmation an hour prior to agreed upon pick up time. This created a crisis for me and my ability to get a ride to make my flight was compromised.
