About this app

This app makes it easy for you to create your own unique soundboards.

Here are some of the app's main features:
- You can create as many soundboards as you want.
- Sounds can either be added from files or from URLs. (Just keep in mind that direct links to sounds work best and that YouTube URLs won't work, more on that below.)

- Sounds can be customized a lot:
- You can add thumbnails and colors to sounds
- You can choose when the sound should start and stop, down to the millisecond
- Sounds can be faded in and out
- Sounds can be played back simultaneously, allowing you to layer sounds if you want

- Custom Soundboard can also backup your soundboards to files to make sure you don't lose them.
- You can share soundboards with others.

YouTube URL disclaimer:
The original plan was to make you able to enter a URL to a YouTube video and then have the sound of that video downloaded, making you able to use it just like any other sound.
The problem is that I can't implement this download functionality because the Google / YouTube policies and guidelines don't allow me to do so.

Thanks for downloading the app!

In case Custom Soundboard doesn't work properly please report the bug(s) by sending me an email or by writing a review.

So far so good! Seeing how it will work for hockey games, looking forward to using it. A couple additions I'd personally like to see are sticky sounds. Something that as I scroll down, 2-3 will stay at the top (think always having the ability to hit a goal song, while being able to play off tracks). Also an addition showing which sounds have been "played" would be helpful when using so I don't repeat tracks during a game.

Hi, thanks for your suggestions. The latter part about highlighting already played sounds will be added in a future version. Sticky sounds also sound like a good idea, though I'm unsure about how to add them with a proper user interface without making them clunky.

simple and effective, although editing start/end points is kind of a pain and could be better with a zoom-able waveform view and movable start/end markers. regardless, it's a great app with an intuitive interface and is excellent if you need to play a bunch of bumpers/walk-on/walk-off music. took 5 minutes to figure out how to use all the features and get right to work.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. A better editing feature including a visualization of the file's waveform is planned :).

(re-submission) A fantastic tool for delivering music and sound effects quickly and easily. I use this app to supply music at my son's hockey games and it always wins over the crowd. The best feature, so far, is that I can pause a track when the puck drops, and if there is an immediate stoppage of play, I can unpause the track and continue it from where it left off. My only suggestion is that I would love to see a feature where there is a sticky section of sounds/music available.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion! Here are some questions I have for your regarding the feature: What could such a sticky section look like? Would you like to see a given number of buttons always stay on the screen? Where exactly would that be?

What's new

This updates brings a much needed overhaul to the sound copying feature. Copying sounds from one soundboard to another should now work much more smoothly.
