I have been an Uber driver for a year and this is an essential app for both drivers and riders. For drivers, you can check the surge when you are on a trip so that if Uber sends you a request before you end your current trip, you know if there are surges around you and can better decide if it makes sense for you to accept a particular trip. Also, if you are waiting for a passenger, you know what opportunities you are passing up if they tell you they will be "just a few more minutes". For passengers, it tells you exactly what the surge is now that Uber doesn't tell you and you may be able to determine if you are in a area that is on the edge of a surge and help you to determine when to request a ride. I highly recommend this app.
We drivers already get the short end of the stick. This just makes the stick shorter. Enjoy your walk I'll pick up people in The Surge if that's where I'm at
Too simplistic interface with very less information. Only shows a bit of area regarding surge prices , takes too long to load. But gets the job done.
I've tried several of these apps. This is the only one which has actually worked for me.
My gps is on, still it doesn't auto detect my location. It opens in a blank screen mode and I have to manually enter my location. Please fix this bug asap. Edit: tried ur suggestion, it only asks for location permission, which is enabled. Have un-installed & re-installed too, but still same issue. May be this issue is only in Kolkata (India). Please check, else it's now useless.
Doesn't get location automatically when change my location settings to "Phone only" please fix it.
This is a relisting of the same NoSurge app that had nearly 30,000 installs as of April 2017.
