No caching? The app needs Internet constantly in order to save an event, or view my calendar. All calendar events disappeared for me twice in the last week, and re-synced later. 1. Why can I save an event locally? It can sync up with the server later when internet is available. 2. Why do I lose all the events when my internet is back on? It takes a few minutes to download them again. What a waste. 3. Cannot load official holidays in US or any country.

I like being off Google & the great privacy Proton provides. However, it doesn't give u an option to search for birthdays/appts, etc, - which is really needed! Also, it glitches & changes the dates of some repeating events to the first day of the month. Weird & frustrating. Also want to be able to choose default font/format/reminders, etc. Other than that, happy with it.

My only gripe, and it's a big one (valuable at two stars), is that it is network based, not internal storage based, which means there is a good amount of time before I can do anything. I seen the events take up to 15 seconds to load. Now I am a patient man but when Google's calender, about as insecure as any app can be, is flash memory based, why can't Proton mail be too?
