Great interface / very user friendly and simple. Love the fact that the app itself does not require you to connect or sync any of your bank accounts. That means that, for the initial set-up, you will have to log into your accounts from a computer, get your numbers and input them on the app. That said, the app itself makes you come back to it every time you spend money - it's great accountability. Furthermore, because you keep revisiting the app, you have the constant reminder of your budget and your current balance. So far there are a couple of things that I've noticed could make this app even better: 1. Custom-able pattern spending. There already is a categorical tag you can attach to expenses. However, the user should be able to either customize them or, the developers should add a wider arrangement of common expenses (ie.: bill pay, groceries, gas, clothing, food, etc.). These categories should make it simpler for the user as to which expenses to cut back on and which one's they can't really change. 2. Have a bill pay reminder. Maybe add a calendar of sorts where the user can set up an alarm system to remind them of upcoming bills.
Can be much better. The app looks really great when you start using it. It has a great UI and likes really pretty. But soon you will discover that it's missing some very crucial features. 1) Recurrin Payments; 2) No option for refunding money. You can only add it as income and that screws up your saving goals; 3) No option to add Custom categories; 4) Doesn't show individual account history (you have to manually check every transaction); 5) Cannot transfer money between accounts; 6) No place to view all your income sources.
Has become worse instead of better. Still the same terrible UI rather than the one used for iPhones (the one on the pictures). Now it rounds off my numbers. Instead of 8.80, it'll say 9. I want to know exactly how much money i have, not an estimate. Also many bugs, the most annoying of which is that it won't let you edit past purchases.
It is WONDERFUL on iOS but on android is shite! You can't customize labels, go to your past expenses, or import your old data (from iOS) to android. I prefer the simplicity and awesomeness given in iOS. If you have android, trust me and don't even bother downloading it
🦀 Budget is very flat and I can't tell if it is even useful for budgeting. Can't add custom expenses categories, the expenses venue is extremely stupid, no web interface, reports are very simple, didn't continue the evaluation and just uninstalled it and went to YNAB
IOS version comes with more features Long time user of wally (almost 2 years) recently switched from IOS to android. Many key featured are missing in the Android version such as: - recurring expenses - setting the first day of the month/cycle (ie if you don't get paid on the first day of the month) - customized tags and labels - other minor features However, the interface looks a bit better on this version. Wally has such a clean interface, and it is so easy to use and I also love the geotagging. Pls fix them!!
We're still in Beta, so we're always developing features.
