I've been playing this version of Minesweeper for a while now.... years? And the fact that I've stuck with it means that yes, I've liked it. Until this new 1.2.8 version was released. It feels like a complete rewrite of the game and that's a problem because it's gotten VERY slow. Before, every tap was basically instantaneous, but now? There's a very noticable delay and quite frankly, it makes the game unplayable, especially since it's a timed game where you're trying to find all the mines fast.

Good, though not sure it's any better than others. After all, there's not much to it. It plays well & it's fast & easy to change settings, though I don't know what the differences between difficulties are; generally, difficulty in Minesweeper is managed by grid size. Achievements were very easy, but it's not stated how you actually get them, & I only got the "win" ones after winning multiple times. Finally, I may be wrong, but it feels like there's more guessing required than in other versions.

Compared to other mine sweeper clones, this one is much more like the original Windows game, including its flaws. More modern apps use algorithms to make the game playable with logical thinking, but this game is truly random. A lot of guessing it's required, which is not very satisfying to me, win or lose. If you don't mind that, then this game is adequate. If you prefer a game that doesn't require guessing, then look elsewhere.
