A live wallpaper that displays a moving electrical plasma effect in the background of your home screen. Includes a variety of settings for the color, pattern, and motion of the plasma.

As of Dec. 31, 2013, all of the features in the paid version (Electric Plasma Wallpaper Plus) have been added to the free version. The paid version has been discontinued.

This app contains no advertisements and requires no permissions. Furthermore, no future update will ever add advertisements or permissions to it.

As of March 11, 2013, this app has been updated to use OpenGL ES 2.0. As a result, it runs faster, more smoothly, and more efficiently than older versions. It uses very little power on tested devices, including Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3, and many users report that it uses very little power on their devices as well.

The "Open" button on this page will take you to your Live Wallpapers menu for convenience. To open the LWP menu normally on most devices, go to your home screen, press and hold on the background, then select "Wallpapers," then "Live Wallpapers," and then select "Electric Plasma Live Wallpaper" from the list. This is also a way to access the settings for this wallpaper.

Always remember to check the permissions before downloading any app. There is another app named "Electric Plasma Live Wallpaper" which is a spam/adware app. The real Electric Plasma Live Wallpaper does not require any permissions.

Had this on galaxy S7 & S10 and it worked great! Just got an S24 and there is an app out there with the same name but a different publisher so I downloaded it... it is not the same and didn't even work on the s24. Kept crashing. This app hasn't been updated since 2013, and I don't think it ever will. Very unfortunate since I can't seem to find another like it at all... Giving 3 stars for the great experience on older devices but dropping 2 for not updating to work on newer phones.

Using a One Plus device running stock Android 13, there's no way to change the settings of the LWP. When viewing it in the LWP viewer, I'm only able to apply it, no customizing. This is unfortunate, because this is one of the most beautifully smooth LWPs out there. If you ever read this, please update it to work with newer OS versions of Android. Thank you!

This is an amazing app! The colors are fully adjustable, and will alternate from one to another in sequence. You can even create your own colors according to a full spectrum! The symmetry is adjustable, as is the speed, pattern, etc. The only drawback is that it does drain the battery faster. If you have a longer life battery, it won't be a problem though. The sheer adjustability and virtually flawless operation gives it a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 in my book. Micheal Palmer totally nailed it!!!
