October 2020 Update: bumped it up a star, based purely on quality, timelines, and ease of reading. Weaknesses are still there. ------------------ Asked me to rate it a 5 right off the bat. Good collection and presentation of news topics. The slide-out tab is nice but I would like to be able to do some filtering. Even better, to enter my key words for news topics.

I could live with the fact that certain topics are forced on us. Fine. However, the app will not refresh or update when I'm connected to WiFi, only when using mobile data. I have tested this in different places, connecting to different WiFi sources. It does not work, I get the "Oops, something went wrong" message unless I switch to data. Absutely ridiculous. I'm not wasting my data on this app.

One of the better news apps out there. clean and tidy interface. Update: after using for a while I have concluded this is probably the BEST app out there in terms of quality journalism, organization and presentation. Sadly I may have to delete it because I find their flashing advertisements such an assault on my eyes. I cant imagine who would ever think this was a good idea.
