Mool Nanakshahi Calendar recognises the adoption event, of 1999 CE, in the Sikh history when SGPC released the first calendar with permanently fixed dates in the Tropical Calendar.Therefore, the calculations of this calendar do not regress back from 1999 CE into the Bikrami era, and accurately fixes historical dates for all time in future.

Great calendar app based on the Mool Nanakshahi calendar (previously called Nanakshahi calendar until Bikrami calendar was renamed to that name) which provides proper Sikh dates based on a solar calendar and which remain fixed each year. This is the true solar calendar for Sikhs. App feature wise it has a lot of cool features, and does not need any permissions (the ultimate in privacy and security). It also has a tutorial at the beginning when you first open it. Great work!

the true Sikh calendar, finally upgraded experience, and simutaneous conversion. also wish I could add and save key dates, and add reminders for personal stuff as well
