After probably 12 years of using BeyondPod as a paid user, it seems that it's time to find a new app. Almost nothing works, and when features break, it takes literally years for the developers to respond. This time, it's podcast search. It's been broken for months. Playing from the notification tray is extremely inconsistent. Getting the player to resume via Bluetooth almost never happens unless you have the app as the active screen, and even then it's a crapshoot. Bye...

I've been using this app for a few years now, and it's never let me down in terms of available podcasts, and playback quality. It does time out fairly often when downloading larger podcast files, and the widget no longer works very well, as it can't start replaying unless you enter the app and start the player, it won't work from the home screen, or the lock screen anymore.

Unstable, after latest update ( suppose to make it compatible to Android auto), widgets stop working. Program pause on startup. Crash and pause on loading. Poor execution, very disappointed. Follow-up. Beyondpod is now finally listed in Android Auto. What do you know, it did not work, play for a few seconds then pause, play - pause again again and again. It is so bad, it is a Alpha copy. Don't worry about beta testing. Alpha test it first please. Don't download unless fixed.
