I have been using BeyondPod for many years. It has more or less all the features I need and I was always happy with it. But sadly it is time to change to another app. The killer problem is that subscribing to new podcasts has stopped working, and expect this is permanent. I don't know exactly how it works, but my guess is that every podcast app has a catalogue of podcasts on a server, which has to be maintained by someone. If the revenue falls, eventually you stop maintaining the catalogue.

Playback Error! Playback Error! Playback Error! Playback Error! Every. Single. Day. ......... I have premium version of this this app for around a decade. Over 4 phones from 3 different manufacturers, the main issue of playback dropout over Bluetooth while streaming continues without resolution. Also, multiple notifications showing beginning immediately after the update to resolve such excessive notifications, which I never had before. No update for years. Likely none on the way. Abandoned app.

What to play constantly ignores episodes, so I have to add them manually. Automatic download only occasionally runs so I have to do that manually. Their forum is unreachable because they refuse to offer a secure connection (https). Their contact email address is no longer valid. BeyondPod was a terrific app while it was still supported. More it's just a complete waste of time, effort, and money in case you were thinking about buying the full version. I did and don't regret it, but can't recommen
