Edit: the bugs are piling up and making the app less capable, rating reduced. This App has been a solid companion for years and is the only podcast app I have stuck with despite trying many of them. Sadly though the lack of updates is starting to tell as it is getting more and more buggy - as of August 2022 the podcast feed search is broken.

Have used this app across multiple phones, and like the way that you can manage downloads in advance. The interface is great, and I purchased the unlock key a while back. However, recently I've expericed some real problems with it. Controls in the car can just present a blank screen. Worse, and the reason I have to try something else is that I can no longer add new feeds; just presents an error when trying to search. If you click on help, that also presents an error. Time to try something else.

Used to be the go to app for all my Podcast needs. It was really a set up and forget type app. Recently though, the app has been buggy. On Android Oreo, media information wasn't shared over Bluetooth to the receiver and then Android Auto blacklisted the app, so the app can't be controlled from within Android Auto any longer. The app hasn't been updated in 6 months, like the Devs don't care about the quality of the app any more, so I can't see anything being fixed soon. Try Podcast Addict instead, it is much better and at least the Dev is active.
