Time to declutter You've got the feature set. Please now focus on simplifying the ui. It's become way too cluttered and has way too much small print and truncation. Imagine you are building a version for the visually impaired. That might get you in the frame of mind to address what people are complaining about so much. I'm a paid user of many years, by the way. The feature set is what has kept me around in spite of increased frustration with how the functions I use most go deeper and deeper in the complex ui.
The tablet version is very buggy and developer do not fix any bugs on the tablet. The fix rotation is not working. The notification is stuck when there is nothing on your play list and you can not close it. It downloads some podcast episode multiple time even after you have watched them.
Excellent choice The tablet UI compliments the content and makes full use of the display. Other than that BeyondPod is the known and loved podcast manager we love. I don't get it though why the phone and tablet versions are two different apps. Who knows?
AWFUL! Switched to phone version. I can understand some things being different when the different layout. I kind of like seeing all my podcasts chronologically. What I can't stand are the features from the original, amazing app that aren't here. Why can't I just get rid of the skip to end button? If the only screen in the whole app is just all my podcasts and a few lines of the notes, why can't I just tap on the notes to actually read them, like on the phone app? Why is the sleep function literally hidden under the control bar?
Revise is terrible I have used this app for years. This last update is terrible. I was way happy with the last version but now I am looking for something else
Recent update broke beyondpod/Sonos integration Great great app. Best I've seen. Now that is out of the way: the recent release broke all integration paths to Sonos. You can longer put the podcasts in .../Podcasts without a Beyondpod postfix, and Macronos integration stopped working. Boo.
* Updated to support the official release of Chromecast SDK.
