This app is basically badly cloned Firefox And it doesn't even play Flash. Why isn't Mozilla suing you? After all, copying Firefox (badly), not serving this app's only purpose, and still making money off of it is copyright infringement, not to mention just plain wrong. You made no effort to make this app your own. You're basically uploading a Firefox APK to the Play Store and charging for it. The only difference is that it's called Flashfox, has a different icon, and not only doesn't play flash, but doesn't load pages at all.
It DOES work! I was very hesitant at first, due to the many negative reviews. However, there was no harm in trying it out myself. I am not a fan of the "look and feel" of this web browser, but I was definitely able to view anything that required a Flash Player. I guess I am fortunate that I do not experience any crashes with this app as well. The app is handy enough.
Loved it until The update before this one messed it up it constantly crashes. Not only that when you close it it still says it is crashing it evens stops my Netflix from playing I just have to push play but still. And it does it always twice in a row even though you don't open again.
Crashes constantly Still struggles with resources it's a hog n doesn't clean up after itself, crashes on any site with flash chat, crashes a lot with sites heavy with flash content. Puffin seems to play flash content better. Really like this wondering when this will be stable??
ASTONISHINGLY FRUSTRATING & ALL-AROUND BAD If you want "Flash" on a mobile device you do NOT want this. To date we've tested 34 browsers, this one likely being the worst. To test the browser we visited 15 sites, all w/high Flash content. 13 of these sites never launched "Flash" despite our best efforts. The 2 that actually played the content took some doing, 1 required us to reload the page 14 times and the other an unbelievable 26. Plus, it's an incredible data-hog w/not a single redeeming quality. If you find one, let me know. -Farnsworth LTC
Was great until the previous update. Now "Unfortunately, Flashfox has stopped" is imprinted on my brain. And when it crashes, it constantly restarts and crashes again until I force-stop it. It's absolute AIDS.
Fixed installation issue on older devices.
