Amazing app, finally can have my home screen running at 2160p/60 and then switch on the fly to 24/50 etc. when playing videos through Netflix, Plex, Amazon Prime and so on. Few minor things like having to set Netflix to 23.967 in order to avoid the videos starting with lagged video and the fact HDCP fails on Amazon so have to click the video again to play, but it's pretty minor compared to the upside of having the right refresh rate for the videos (and means by TV automatically seems to switch to the HDR profile too). Great work!

This is a must have app (period).! I'm so happy someone took the time to develop it and accomplished something that Nvidia's been ignoring so many years. Without refresh rate adjustment of tv, there's simply no point to watch any content. Its not perfect though, I need to exit and play again to have it work smoothly. But I'm sure it'll get there.. Make a paid version and we'll support this.. keep it up..

Thank goodness for this amazing app! After running Nvidia Shield TV on a 10-year old TV that worked just fine, I upgraded to a 2021 Vizio P-Series Quantum X TV, and I got all kinds of micro judders because of frame rate mismatches between video content and the TV (most US shows with 23.976 fps, but some European shows like Peaky Blinders with 25 fps, and the Shield TV defaulting to 60fps). Having to manually adjust the frame rate settings in the Shield TV would be nuts. The automatic framerate switching of this app is a god send! I cannot believe such a major issue still hasn't been fixed by Nvidia. The functionality of this brilliant app should have been available by default in Nvidia. I tried Nvidia's beta feature for framerate matching and it doesn't work. Third-party app developers for the win!
