Review from Jeremiah Marsh
Great Great concept. Real life saver.
April 22, 2013Thanks for the feedback Jeremiah. Since we've moved from Google's C2DM to it's new GCM messaging, notification performance has been significantly improved. Please try the latest PulsePoint 1.0.7 version. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Great App I work for a large department, most of us use it. It notifies us quicker than our dispatch of incoming fire responses and location which is remarkable. Sometimes we are heading to our units to get dressed before the actual call comes to the station.
Love this app it keeps you away from danger or the scene of accidents & alerts you to where they are
Stopped updating Great app!
Great tool that comes in handy While I myself am not a first responder or medical professional of any kind I appreciate the fact that this app exists and that my area in Las Vegas happens to be covered. At some point I do hope they will add the audio feed which would come in handy at times. Thank you to the Developers for creating this tool.
While I do like the app for some reason whenever I click on the actual response to see where it is on the map instead of showing me where it is in my city it directs me to Port Angeles WA and some small town near Pittsburgh. That's just the active responses so far. One of the recent directs me to Selinsgrove. This app does me no good when it directs me to both the east and west coasts.
Just informative enough There is a fine line between respecting privacy and sharing just enough information so others can potentially help. This app doesn't get too personal. One improvement I would suggest is to not make this app configurable for everybody. Instead it would be nice to require qualifications (i.e. proof of CPR/AED cert, agency affiliation, etc.)
