Junky iOS port Not only has the keyboard sucked for a while now but the UI is ugly in general and now the latest update logged me out and complains that my internet connection isn't available, which I know to be wrong because how else would I be leaving this review, or downloading Grindr? Ugh.
Inconsistent It's pretty buggy on Android even on a brand new S6 with stock ROM. Location doesn't always update correctly and it's hard to delete messages. Plus Apple's idiotic photo guidelines. PS: if you want to make buttons easier to reach you put them at the BOTTOM of the screen, not the top.
Couldn't log in... For some reason it keeps telling me there is connection problems even though I could use other apps. It has being like this for some time already...
Latest update 7/29, no changes... Still slow as hell and buggy Used 2b good, each update adds more annoying/illogical things. Notifications hit n miss, sometimes it works sometimes load the app & have a load of messages waiting. Clicking the notification takes u to nearby members (stupid) - it used to take you to the inbox (logical). If I go to look at who's visited my profile every time I click back off a profile it goes to my favourites not back to the who's visited (annoying). The app takes ages to load compared to before, has less profiles & hangs on occasion.
Forced upgrade! App stopped working. Forced to upgrade. I can no longer rotate or copy text messages/conversations. They reduced the number of results displayed for free & match is a paid feature now. I don't like this color scheme either.
Android Typing Difficulties The app itself is pretty good. My biggest issue is how it does not interface well with the Android typing system. It doesn't make use of the swype or the word guessing function, so you actually have to pick each and ever letter correctly, making it painful to type anything longer than a sentence. But I still use it!
