About this game

The Jornada X Gymkhana is a strategy for actively seeking out students and strengthening the emotional health of the entire school community. she throws
hand of a cultural tradition and the protagonism of students to engage the entire school community in carrying out challenges that attract dropout students to return to school and remain in it.

Lasting from 4 to 6 weeks, 6 (six) missions are proposed that guide students and the school team to jointly build the game, bringing together the entire school community to compete in sports games, cultural, artistic, social activities. and environmental. Thus, the community fraternization, the return to school of absent friendships, the sense of overcoming and accomplishment, the games with the entire local community and the celebration of the joy of returning to the daily life of the school are the great prize to be conquered in this Gymkhana.

The Gymkhana is one of the methodologies developed by LiveLab that can be applied in different disciplines in the school environment, such as in the Life Project, Technology and Electives of Elementary II and High School. In it, skills such as entrepreneurship and cooperation are developed, generating the empowerment of youth as an individual and as part of an entrepreneurial group, the experience of new paradigms and the transformation of the local context. Thus, in addition to a strategy of active search and revitalization of the School, the Gymkhana also contributes to the development of the competences presented in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC).

Through learning through experience and in active methodologies (knowing in action), problems are identified, solutions proposed, interaction, argumentation and the expression of principles and values ​​​​that are at the center of essential learning in youth training take place. . It is, therefore, an experience that articulates the different disciplines and areas of knowledge and that recognizes the School as a mediator of the learning process and the school youth as its protagonist.
