I was using Spotify free for maybe 6 months and after a while I got really tired of not being able to choose my music but if I went back to YT Music no background play so this is a great balance. Sure there are ads but not while listening to music and dis otherwise basically Spotify and it also has music videos although sometimes I have had trouble with those. Overall a wonderful app that gets the job done.

The app is good and all, but when I go to add music to my playlist it will randomly change the position/order that I have the songs in. sometimes the song that I add or have already will either end up at the top, at the bottom, or smack dab in the middle and I have to constantly go back to my playlist to fix it. If this is some kind of weird glitch, i'm surprised that it was never fixed.

I understand it's still a work in progress. At $6 lifetime it's worth it to see what it becomes. I would like to see the ability to cast to another speaker. If it's already there I can admit to user error, I just don't see it. For everything else, ie custom playlists, commercial free, playing in the background it works. I would definitely recommend. Oh, also plays while offline.
