The Santander App is Santander Mexico's digital banking service, designed to help you manage your money clearly, simply, and securely from a single platform. We've revamped the app by listening to our customers to make your everyday financial decisions easier.
Authorize your transactions instantly with your fingerprint or facial recognition, check your account activity, view and review your loans, and manage your money with greater control and security in every transaction. From the app, you can make payments and transfers, including international transfers, pay taxes such as property tax, water bills, and vehicle registration fees, and top up your mobile phone with various carriers, including BAIT, without any hassle.
You can also take your first step into investing, buy and sell funds, manage your financial products, and view details of your active loans. We've improved the My Offers section, where you'll find the products Santander has for you and can also purchase insurance; all easily and at your own pace.

If you're not yet one of the nearly 9 million customers who use the Santander App, you can become a customer directly through the app, transfer your payroll to Santander, or apply for your 100% digital credit card, with clear and frictionless processes.

Ratings and reviews

App is pretty unstable when performing operations that require you to complete a transaction using Santander's Dynamic NIP. Most attempts fail, with the wait cursor just spinning forever. Crash! Then, you have to wait several minutes to log back in. I have spent hours trying to pay for utility services with this but have yet to succeed. It's too bad, because for most reviewers it seems to work. But I'm ditching Santander for another bank because of this.

This app is awesome!! However the bank itself SUCKS 😞!! I keep paying on time, even if it's the minimum payment, but the balance stays relatively the same!! It hardly goes down which makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off!! All I'm paying is interest, then taxes on that interest, then commission, then taxes on that commission!! What's next, taxes on taxes!! Thank you!!! 😡

The problem I'm having is with the debit card. If I go to a gasoline station where they have the handheld credit card machines and they run the debit card, I'm asked for my pin, most of the time my pin won't work. What they have to resort to is doing a tap payment which requires none of these security features. It's not really clear if I use my regular pin or I have to gather up a dynamic pin to use while I'm out at certain places. It's confusing and they need to clear that up.
