I love this app!!! It's the best app for bipolar that I have found. If you can afford it, I recommend getting the full version. You can tailor it to your specific needs. But even if you can't get the full version, the standard version has great features. It tracks all of the key symptoms that are common to us all. If you're bipolar, I can't recommend this enough. Thank you so much for this app!!
Highly recommend. I've been using eMoods for about five years and it's been invaluable to me in tracking my recovery and preventing/minimising relapses. The developer has done a fantastic job of responding to user feedback on the new version. I totally recommend it to anyone who is after a mood tracking app. I've tried about 6 or 7 others but they've not impressed me as much as the simplicity of eMoods. The free version is 100% functional but I'm happy to upgrade (I'd pay just to support the developer) but the extra custom tracking features are really good too. If you're not in a position to buy the upgrade try just adding your self care tasks as medications, that's what I did for a long time before the custom tracking was introduced.
I've tried a decent number of mood trackers available in the Play Store but this one's really stuck with me. I like that it's being developed with people that have bipolar disorder specifically in mind, providing easy ways to track things I don't feel like l have the time to write down or use other apps for a single feature. For example, I want to track my weight but don't want to lose or gain weight and therefore don't want to track my calories, but use MyFitnessPal just for the weight tracking. Or I don't really want to a whole app devoted to tracking my period. This has all the important points I always wish I could show my doctor but never had a decent consistent log of anything, and it's all in one place.
Love the new version! I've upgraded my rating now that I've used it fur a while. This new version fixed almost all the bugs. I do have a couple requests. The graphing function on screen is great with all standard and customized points plotted together. The exported pdf files seem archaic and difficult to read and discuss with the doctor. Please make the exported reports have all of the information and in a format that's as pleasing to view as the on screen version. Last request, and my longest standing wish for this app is an auto-backup option. I understand security of private information but I hope you will consider providing a solution. I've lost weeks of data at a time which tend to be those times when symptoms were most erratic and exporting was the last thing on my mind. Thanks for the new features, great design and customability, and continued development. I can't wait to give 5 stars :-)
Love it and how well it helps me manage and spot my triggers and moods. The reports grant an in depth look into your moods specially if suffering from bipolar disorder. Going to use the reports with my doctor and see how that turns out.
I have never been able to keep up a hand written mood journal. This app has helped me to track my emotions and better understand myself. Especially the sleep per night in regards to sleep treatment for bipolar. You can clearly see the effect of sleep deprevation causing and worsening episodes.
