I love the app, just wish I could change my settings to global search. Not sure if it because I am using a android phone, but when I try to change my settings it won't allow me to. I love how it syncs with my nutrition program and shows me how many macros I still nees to get in each day. I do wish the food search was a little easier. Sometimes it takes awhile to find your food and the search engine doesn't like too much info. As far as actually tracking the macros once you find your food it is awesome!
Global search should be enabled by default. Doesn't allow me to use word suggestions/autocorrect on SwiftKey or Swiftmoji keyboards, so food entries take FOREVER to touch type or swype without error. Can't add ingredients to recipe by barcode scan. You have to subscribe to use the web app - and the subscription has ios only features. Why charge android users the same for a subscription for fewer features? Joy health tracker may not have as pretty of a ui, but it's easier to use and offers more for $24/year. MFP is still most versatile for free.
Disregard the negative feed back. I personally think its better than myfitnesspal. Easier to search and scan. Its also connects with avatar nutrition to help me keep track of my goals. If you have issues, either your phone sucks or you need to follow the instruction videos. I love it overall!
Has potential but constantly crashes on my new Google Pixel. Crashes while adding custom foods, crashes while syncing. Also has a substantially smaller database vs MyFitnessPal which I'm going back to. If this app cannot perform on the phone that Android was made for, then I doubt it can perform elsewhere
This app is great in the sense that it tracks your macros. This app is lacking in almost every other category. Freezes occur while multitasking if you are in the process of inputting anything. The interface also does not follow material design guidelines and is counter-intuitive. I'm disappointed that I had to pay a hefty price for this app, but it's cheaper to use this than MyFitnessPal for macro tracking. In my opinion, this app is not a good value.
Only got it because of the integration with Avatar Nutrition (would Not pay $3 for it alone). I'm global and I have to input *everything* in manually, I've only had 1 barcode scanner work. It does what it needs and has a lot of potential, but could be slightly better UI. If the database was more up to date I would give it higher ratings.
