Meet the app that makes it even easier to control your Xumo TV and Xumo Stream Box — by letting you use your phone as your remote.

No need to tear your house apart searching for lost remotes, run around looking for batteries or even put down your phone. Control your Xumo devices with the Xumo Remote app.

There’s so much you can do with the Xumo Remote app.

Access all your essential controls for streaming:
- Power your Xumo device on and off.
- Play or pause whatever you’re watching.
- Explore your Xumo device with the navigation pad.
- Select items with the OK button.
- Return to the previous screen with the Back button.
- Return to the home screen anytime with the Home button.
- Jump to specific channels or type in PINs with the number pad.
- Control the volume level (for Xumo TVs only).

Find, categorize and personalize content faster with dedicated controls:
- Open a keyboard on your Xumo device to search for your next watch.
- Open the Quick Access menu to access quick settings and search.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Add content to My List with the Add button.

The Xumo Remote app is made accessible, with you in mind:

How to set up the Xumo Remote app:
- Download and open the app.
- Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same WiFi network as your Xumo device.
- Select your Xumo device from the list of available devices. The app will connect automatically.
- Start exploring with your Xumo Remote app.

Ratings and reviews

Literally did not work. Cannot detect box in any way, shape, or form. Says there are none active, while the box is streaming. Both are on the same wifi network. No other way to add except for the auto-detection, which shows the app designers are complete incompetents. Just say no to Xumo in every way.

Just downloaded it and it worked right away. It connected to both Xumo boxes in our house with no problem. Hopefully it continues with this smooth use. Update: the phone remote is still working smoothly a few days later on 2 Android phones. I did try to download the App on my Dad's iPad and was not able to get it to work. I had the XUMO TV app downloaded on each first then downloaded this remote.

Connected to same wifi. Nothing. This Xumo box has been nothing but problem after problem. Truly a failure in modern streaming devices. Wholeheartedly do not recommend.
