Managed to get it working, sometimes. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to Arduino Uno r3 using OTG cable. Only managed to get ArduinoCommander to connect with the board twice (the greyed out circuit board on the screen turned blue) out of maybe 50 times. Baud rate used was 57600. Sometimes 'failed to apply pin mode' kicked in... But uploading built-in Firmata and Blink sketches were okay any time.
Really good, but has some problems Finally got it to connect to my Mega after some time adjusting the baud rate on my FirmData and on my HC-06 BT module. The UI looks glitched on my nexus 5 and the buttons are too small and hard to click. But other than that, it still works and delivers what it promises. Really useful app, but could improve.
Great app, working just as it should This is very good app for controlling arduino board from ansroid tablet. I tested it with UNO r3 via bluetooth and usb OTG on my Nexus 7 2012 and it worked justfine. I really don't understand why people rate it 1 star just because their devices don't have required hardware, or they don't know how to connect it correctly. Just keep adding more great features to it.
Works with glitches on Nexus 5 I tried it with my USB host cable and it mostly worked alright. Downloading the sketch worked alright but the baud rate didn't default to the correct one. After fixing that and connecting, the buttons for the pins were in the wrong location compared to the drawing of the Uno. Most text areas were cramped and cut off the end of messages. Still usable though. In the end it was still neat.
Bad support for in app purchases. When I wanted to use this app with my arduino nano, I needed to buy an update for €2.99. But after buying the update, except that the popup message don't show anymore, nothing changed. I need to go to my pc to compile the correct firmata sketch to a .Hex file. Transfer it to my phone and then upload it with this app. And the default firmata sketch does not work with this app. No download was made whatsoever. I payed 3 Euros for an upgrade that I have to find, compile and upgrade myself to get it working.
Galaxy Note ll Doesn't work Is this phone specific?I cannot connect in any way. So much potential. Disappointing i so want to use the app.
