The USP of this app is to be able to read aloud your long list of articles. The issue is (for me at least) that I don't really like any of the voices I tried, and there are audio glitches. Its a great idea, and I feel next steps for Narro is to get that audio quality better. I'd happily pay for the extra features such as Instapaper and more than 15 articles per month, but that audio quality needs improving.

Won't upload articles - insists I upgrade to pro I can't seem to get Narro to accept any articles for conversion to voice. Instead, it just asks me to upgrade to pro Narro Pro, an additional $7.99 a month. The free option, apparently, doesn't exist despite what the app store and their own web site says.

Good idea but lacks enough functionality to be great. Would like the ability to have a queue of items to be narrated even if I've used up my monthly quota of narrations. Additionally, currently experiencing a bug where I apparently have used up my quota when I have actually only used one. The voices are a bit robotic, but I ultimately accept that that's where the technology is at the moment. Look forward to future updates!

Simple to use Great little app. The free version allows you to listen to 15 articles a month. After which I'm sure it'll inform you of it's subscription model. Simple to use and easy instructions means I'm able to share articles to the app which then syncs to my podcast player. The occasional audio glitch doesn't spoil the fact I can listen to written articles whatever I'm doing.

Too Expensive The service has worked fine though I have experienced some choppiness in the reading which I didn't really care for. Overall though I feel that the $7.99 per month fee, even with the 15% off discount for the year, is way too expensive.

This is a great app and does exactly what it says it does. There are many ways to share an article to my podcast app (PocketCasts, another great app), but you need to make sure you are using those supported int he free version. Otherwise you will get the "you must upgrade" message. I I wish there was a step between free and $7.99 per month, that seems very steep for this service. Also, I feel like this is recreating the wheel in light of how awesome the Google Now/Google Home voice is. Hopefully apps like this will be able to harness the better options like this down the road. That said, this is a good app!

Hi Robin! These are the highest quality voices we have been able to find. We are constantly searching for new ones, and would be happy to try integrating any better ones you may know of! WTF. Paid app. Asks for money!!! 1st thing!!! This is a paid app. Just ask for the payment up front. Don't waste our time!!!
So glad to see an Android app for Narro! I installed today, and it's working like a charm. I'll be upgrading to Pro now that it's easier to add articles from my phone.
Unpleasant interface I guess they had no money for design. Seems complicated too.
