Great app, one problem There's a setting to hide the zoom in and out buttons when using the pinch zoom, but they don't go away until I wake a few seconds after touching the screen. This is the only issue I've ever had with the app though, it's great in every other way.

It'd be great to be able to autohide the title bar (an optional fullscreen mode) until one swiped down from the top. But excellent != perfect, so I still deem this app worthy of 5 stars.

Form and Function Only vehicle for mobile! consumption of XKCD that doesn't compromise functionality of desktop access

Not Android design Doubletaps, swipes, etc. Generally do not work as expected on Android. Also steals the back button.

Simple, effective Does all it needs to do and does it well. Simple design and effective controls. Just what it should be.
Great app for a great comic Grab this app and grab your daily dose of the best geeky science comic. I've been using this app for many years now. Strongly recommended.
Love it By the way you shoukd add what if? To the settings menu
Brilliant. Love the random button and the ease with which you can post on Facebook and twitter.
Does what it says on the tin Like that it can open external links!
Still the best! Been using this app since... my HTC droid (2009).
The Best Great app, does everything I need. Excellent developer!
Nice app. Thanks for making it easier to access XKCD. This app should be standard on all phones...
It works. Overall, the app works and the ability to search by name or number and a quick link to the explain page is rather nice. Unfortunately, the UI is rather dated and you can't zoom in on a single panel. The inability to zoom on a text heavy comic is definitely this apps biggest problem, especially on a phone, and why I'll probably just stick with the website and only use this to save comics I want to reference often.
Almost perfect The auto-zoom could use some fine-tuning, but otherwise this is terrific. So much better than trying to read the comics on the web page. And thanks for adding the "explain" button!
great, lightweight awesome app, and no clutter. i just noticed that the "disable zoom buttons" preference doesn't work for me though (Nexus 5, Android 4.4.2)
Best xkcd app out there! Any chance of a version including a browser for the "What-if"s, with alt-text displayed and working formulae?
No sharing :( Cannot share image, as it doesn't save on my device. The app says it does, but it's nowhere to be found anywhere, so shares a blank email, etc. Please fix soon
Excellent, but... It seems the share function with the image option doesn't work. Fantastic app otherwise! Galaxy S4
did the trick feedly couldn't view the image title text. neither could Chrome. this does it just fine. thank you, author!
Mostly Works It does not display animated GIFs. The interface is mediocre.
Share to whatsapp not working for me When trying top share to what's whatsapp it fails.
Fantastic! Does exactly what any self-respecting xkcd fan needs it to. I don't have a single complaint. Would gladly have paid for it if I had to. GREAT JOB!
Good app I've been using this app for a very long time now, and I've never had any problems with it. It's simple and fast, just what I want :)
Random button behaving strangely Sometimes the random button fails to fetch a comic.
Great app with the right amount of features. I especially love the Random function as well as the Alt-Text function.
Love the intelligent humor I'm a fan of the web comic and this makes mobile access easy.
