I've used multiple email apps (Outlook, Alto, Typemail, MailWise, Alto, K9, and CloudMagic when it was free) over past year, and by far this is the best. I have ~8 email accounts, and Sol makes it a breeze to set each of them up (Outlook was the worst). UI UX is minimalistic yet contemporary (but Alto and old CloudMagic were equally good, K9 the worst). Where it beats the rest hands down is the "search" function (rest don't even come close). What irritated me the most is that I use Outlook on my laptop, and the mobile version of Outlook could have had some level of integration ("continuity" as Apple calls it), but Outlook was the worst to set up. Where Sol could improve is the speed with which it retrieves emails from server (Outlook was the best).
It keeps forgetting my emails I'm setting up on the other tab. Very very annoying... I just want an email app that works.
It's pretty good but it doesn't seem to pick up all my gmail contacts until I actively compose a new message or reply to one so I still have to keep using gmail alongside which I find really annoying. Why is this?
Works very well and reliably for all my email needs. I quickly receive and send email at the push of a button. I'm also a fan of the design. It shows there are many features, but you won't be overwhelmed.
wasn't able to get it to connect to my mail server or even Google it seems if it has no sim (data) it just throws network errors (dns) only wifi on phone.
It's what I was looking for.. But please, remove recommended apps, spoil the design..
