Wish it worked on my LG G3 It has never worked with my LG G3. I downloaded the google camera app and set it to default on my phone but it still launches the LG G3 camera and has never worked once. I think this is a great app idea but I can't use it. I'm giving it one star for compatibility reasons but if it can reliably work on my LG G3, I'll happily change the rating. Oh, the watch I'm using is the Moto 360. Maybe that is the issue that needs to be updated in the app. Dev replies to my email and got it partially working.
Good but... Needs more features for 5 stars, but good, solid and working. Seems to work on my urbane. Only thing I don't like is that the rectangle on the watch switches between landscape and portrait only when rotation lock is off on the phone. This is a minor annoyance because my phone is always locked in portrait, which doesn't affect the camera app, which still switches. The orientation on the watch should be linked to the orientation in the camera app, not the phone screen orientation.
Great except... I'm using the LG G3 with the LG G watch, and initially it worked great! However, when using the rear camera it has been freezing a lot when it never used to. Also the face (selfie) camera doesn't work at all. It simply freezes. Other than that, the other features work: flash, timer, and turning on even when the phone is locked or on sleep. Please fix and I will give 5 stars!
Works well on Moto 360 & Galaxy S4 This is very useful! It works well for my Moto 360 paired to my Galaxy S4. The camera preview is great for using the better, back-facing camera on my phone AND still be able to live up shots well! Both front and back cameras, tap watch gave to take photo, take photos immediately or with 5 or 10 sec delay, use no flash, flash on, or auto flash. I wishes: 2 second delay (5 is actually pretty long), audible count down (from the phone (spoken "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, now!" would be awesome or beeps).
Wow! Great app! This camera works well with my Moto 360 paired with my Galaxy S3. It only seems to stop when my phone's screen goes dark, which makes sense. I'll have to lengthen my phone's wake time for any serious picture taking. The photos are saved in the "Camera" folder of my Gallery. I think I'll have lots of fun with this app.
Dubious but pleasantly surprised After Reading the reviews I wasn't expecting much, but other than the slight delay on the watch preview it works perfectly! Basic camera controls, but everything you need for quick shots. Photos saved with other camera shots. Easy and convenient. (Nexus 5 and LG GwatchR)
