not quite there Idea is fantastic but I find it does not get the selection quite right. The sonds are off a tiny bit, enough to make it too difficult for me to adjust my running rhythm. I do not know if it is because the way it analyses the music or whether it is due to the accelometer. I wear my smartphone in an armstrip Would be great if the application allowed me to manually calibrate to get it right. Now the beat is a tiny bit too quick, so it is not in sync with steps per minute
Definitely makes running easier. Update: reduced the rating because the app always forgets I have the pro license. Reactivating via the menu option for it and restarting to get features I've paid for gets tired fast! You do need a decent collection of music for it to work but when you do it makes a big difference for me because I tend to alternate between walking, jogging and sprinting. Takes about a second to switch to the new stride rate though I haven't tried the quicker reacting setting.
great idea but poor delivery Was really excited to find this app, however I've found it only correctly analysed about 30% of music on my device. As such, the music it selects is more limited than the manual playlists I had created for exercise, defeating the purpose of installing. When it gets it right it is very good, but after 4 hours of use I've found it doesn't get it right often enough.
Great concept but needs work Don't buy pro version! Mine losses the memory of the purchase every time I open it which is really annoying. Also, as a reference, a GS3 running cm10.1 apparently shuts off the accelerometer sensors when the screen is off, so this app wants to leave the screen on.. Not this app's fault, but there is no warning of that ahead of time.
Very helpful app I got this app very many months ago, and I've been using it for my walking & jogging sessions, and I must say, it's very accurate so far for any tracks it selects. It was a bit irritating at first when my bluetooth headset controls wouldn't work so changing a track is a long process, but today I decided to try the controls again seeing as the developer upgraded the app, and what do you know....they work! Being able to disable playing power of 2, 4 etc bpm songs is also a welcome addition. Buying the pro version was definitely worth the money as well.
Terrible support I have love the idea of listening to music when you work out and love the idea that this app can change the music to suit your intensity as you exercise. My issues lies that I have purchased a pro version of the app to get the extra features it is not recognising this, I have contacted the support several times about the issue but never received a response back. My recommendation is download the app but don't pay for the pro version.
