Fret Play displays a scrolling score of frets for guitar players. Great for beginners and intermediate players.
It uses MusicXML files saved in the FretPlay directory on your device, you can use music score programs like MuseScore to create the MusicXML file.
The files in the directory are displayed on the screen, with multiple parts if applicable.
It has options to play and scroll through the loaded song, BPM so you can slow or speed it up, scale for how large the fret is displayed, intro and repeat settings.
String notations force the program to select the string denoted.
Position play can be added by using P0, P2 P3 etc. in the "Set System Text..." in MuseScore, which forces the program to work from the given position (fret).
Ties are supported, tie-ing the same note doesn't display the second note If the note is on the same string, then upward slur displays a blue line for hammering on, downwards a green line for pulling off.
